Before founding Outpost, Dunn co-founded Made In Space, Inc. in 2010, where he served as Director and CTO until December 2020. Made In Space was notable for being the first organization to manufacture products in space and successfully exited to Redwire in June 2020.124 His innovative contributions to the aerospace industry earned him recognition on Forbes' "30 Under 30" list in 2014 for manufacturing.4
