Jean Su is the director of the Center for Biological Diversity's Energy Justice Program, focusing on advocating for a clean, distributed, and democratic energy future that ends historical energy violence.

She engages in domestic litigation and policy development at federal and state levels, with a special emphasis on fighting the climate emergency and international climate policy.

Her prior experience includes consulting with McKinsey & Company in China and Taiwan on climate mitigation, and working with the Clinton Climate Initiative and CARE International on climate emergency response and women's microfinance.

Jean Su is a board member of the Climate Action Network-International and SustainUS, well-regarded organizations in the climate advocacy space.

She is recognized for her expertise and has been quoted in major publications such as The Washington Post, The New York Times, and The Guardian.

Jean is a first-generation Taiwanese-American, residing in Washington, D.C., where she volunteers as an art docent for the National Gallery of Art.

Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts from Princeton University, a Master of Science from the London School of Economics, and a Juris Doctor from the University of California, Irvine School of Law.
