Last week, I had the honor of volunteering and hosting at the Odyssey of the Mind (OM) World Finals competition at Iowa State University. Teams from around the world - China, Germany, Japan, Poland, Korea, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Mexico, Singapore, and more - came together to celebrate creativity and to share their solutions to this year’s set of Long-Term Problems. Innovative thinkers change the world, and OM has been teaching K-12 (and university) students how to be innovators, divergent thinkers, and empowered change-makers for almost 50 years! I participated as a child, and our alumni include NASA engineers, Broadway stars, authors, government officials, educators, and visionaries of all types.

If you are interested in bringing OM your child, school, and/or community, let me know (send me a message on here). It is a life-changing program, and your kids will grow as creative thinkers, members of a team, and peers in a global network of tomorrow’s leaders! 🌎🧠
