Highlights
After five incredible years with LiveScore Group it’s time to say my work here is done and to look for new adventures.
⚽ I am immensely proud of the rapid progress and achievements made since 2019 when we set about creating an Editorial team. From a standing start, trying to get a foothold in the crowded football content market, the team grew and evolved in the digital landscape until we were producing a weekly stable of exclusive interviews coupled with breaking news, topical debate and detailed match analysis.
🏅 This culminated in being nominated as ‘best breakthrough business’ in May’s Women's Football Awards for our coverage of all levels of the women’s game.
🌟 A personal highlight was interviewing Cristiano Ronaldo in a covert operation outside of Manchester after months of planning. But my biggest satisfaction has come from identifying, recruiting and nurturing some of the finest young sports writers out there along with my tireless No 2 Gavin Glicksman.
👨🏫 We created a teaching environment at LiveScore and I know every one of our talented alumni are going to enjoy long and successful careers in journalism, sports agency, PR or whatever they turn their hands to.
🌍 I’m now open to fresh challenges in the media or marketing industries, either in leadership or consultancy roles, so please contact me here if you believe I can help you achieve your goals.
✨ If you are looking for a talented pool of editors, writers and digital media journalists do consider contacting Jamie Gordon, Robert Ellis, Danny Ryan, Cian Cheesbrough, Matthew Hill, Mitchell Fretton or Adam Drury.
Thrilled to see the team’s hard work being recognized with a nomination for Best Breakthrough Business of the Year at the Women's Football Awards 2024.
It has been a long-term goal for LiveScore to promote the women’s game at all levels.
On the big stage we enlisted the help of Rachel Yankey, OBE as our guest columnist for Euro 2022 and Fara Williams MBE who spearheaded our World Cup coverage last summer.
We’ve received fantastic cooperation from clubs from the WSL to the National Leagues who have helped us keep our dedicated women’s football section packed full of exclusive interviews and insight, together with match reports for every WSL game.
