In addition to his PhD, João has further enriched his academic experience by studying as a Visiting Student in Air Transportation at the prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). His Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, obtained from Universidade de Coimbra with a commendable score of 15 out of 20, laid the groundwork for his intricate understanding of engineering principles in relation to transportation and infrastructure.
