Jodie Green is a highly educated professional with a background in education, science, and environmental advocacy. They studied a Foundation Course at Big Picture School before pursuing a Postgraduate Diploma in Secondary Education specializing in Science and Maths at the University of Canberra. Continuing their academic journey, Jodie completed a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Chemistry and Biology from Flinders University. Armed with a strong educational foundation, Jodie has taken on various roles in different organizations. They have experience working as a Learning Designer as a self-employed individual, showcasing their creativity and instructional design skills. Prior to this role, Jodie served as a Temporary Executive Assistant at Young Persons' Plan for the Planet, honing their administrative abilities. Additionally, Jodie has contributed to environmental causes as a National Coordinator at Citizens' Climate Lobby and as part of the Communications and Events Team at Beyond Zero Emissions Inc. Their passion for education is evident through their experience as a Teacher at ACT Education Directorate. Furthermore, Jodie has demonstrated compassion and caregiving skills through their previous role as a Carer at Mercy Care. Their commitment to research is highlighted by their time as Research Staff at CRC Tropical Plant Pathology, emphasizing their scientific expertise.
