Jody Mak is a versatile professional with over 9 years of experience in media and journalism, specializing in design, product management, and data analysis.

Throughout his career, Jody has worked with renowned organizations such as The New York Times, Harvard Business Review, Reddit, TED, and The Atlantic, where he led various strategic initiatives in design and product development.

With a background in organizational behavior, innovation, and design strategy, Jody's expertise extends to storytelling & content experiences, membership & subscription experiences, and change management.

At present, Jody serves as a Growth Designer at Reddit, focusing on defining the user lifecycle for the Onboarding and Retention team, while also working as a design & product consultant for an independent Substack writer in the mental health space.

Jody's educational background includes a Master's degree in Organizational Behavior, Systems, and Analytics from NYU, along with executive programs at Columbia University and NYU Stern. He also holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from UC San Diego.

With a strong foundation in design thinking and business design, Jody has a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and driving innovative solutions to complex problems in the ever-changing media landscape.
