Joel Donna is a dedicated individual focused on preparing and supporting the future leaders in science education to instill a passion and appreciation for science among learners.

With a background in Ph.D. Curriculum and Instruction - Science Education from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, and a B.S. in Broad Field Science - Secondary Education from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls, Joel has a solid educational foundation.

His expertise lies in science and STEM education, teacher education, professional development, curriculum development, educational research and evaluation, teacher induction, and technology integration.

Joel Donna currently holds the position of Associate Professor of Science Education at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls and has previously been involved in various roles such as Executive Director and Co-Founder at 3Ring, Consultant, Assistant Professor of Physics at Winona State University, and STEM Specialist at the Minnesota Department of Education among others.

His commitment to enhancing education is further highlighted by his engagement as a Graduate Instructor / Research Assistant at the University of Minnesota and as a Science Educator at Kasson-Mantorville High School.

Joel's continuous participation in programs such as the Archibald Bush Leadership Fellow and Kauffman FastTrac showcases his dedication to ongoing learning and leadership development in the field of education.

His contributions to the academic community and practical experience make him a valuable asset in shaping the future of science education and integrating technology for enhanced learning experiences.
