Celebration Coach: success comes down to three things: knowing your core values, taking action in alignment with those values and celebrating yourself and others.

Joey Chandler is a Core Growth Consultant and celebration coach based in Reno, Nevada.13 He specializes in helping business owners, particularly men in trades such as electricians and fire alarm installers, identify their core values and processes to achieve personal and professional growth.1

Chandler's coaching philosophy centers around three key principles:

  1. Identifying core values: He emphasizes the importance of simplifying core values to just three words for easy recall and application.1

  3. Celebrating progress: He advocates for daily self-celebration as a means to build confidence and maintain momentum.16

One of the great joys on Tik Tok right now is seeing creators (mostly women) take hateful comments and dms (from mostly men) and turn them into content.

In the past week I’ve seen:

  • A stay at home mom show vile comments while doing something like dishes or folding laundry using “Not ready to make nice” by the Chicks. She did so many of them that the Chicks eventually responded on one of her posts and her fans (myself included) went nuts.

  • A women described getting so many hateful comments about her decision to get breast reduction surgery that she created a game around looking at the photo first and then reading the comment. According to her, good looking people don’t leave bad comments and she shared photos to prove her theory.

  • An English teacher used negative comments as examples on how to write better and why it matters. It’s so sweet and sarcastic that you don’t really realize it’s a slap back until part way through.

  • A woman with pearls and horn rimmed glasses out of the 50’s plays a game called, “Does the photo match the comment” where she takes a comment and roasts the men while revealing their always unflattering photo.

  • Multiple Harris supporters are taking negative comments, showing them in videos that qualify to earn money from TikTok, and then donating the money to the Harris campaign.

They are all brilliant and getting better with each iteration. You would think the men would learn not to leave negative comments, but apparently that is not the case.

I share this for two reasons:

  1. To warn anyone thinking of leaving a hateful comments. If not because it’s the right thing to do, then because if you do, you’ll likely get roasted.

  2. But more importantly, to encourage anyone that has a message to share but has been worried about dealing with haters. I’m not saying it doesn’t hurt to receive those comments but there are ways to use any hateful comments to your advantage.

So take a breath and start creating content around what important to you. Yes you may get a few haters but chances are you will find people that love you.
