How do I find high-converting ideas for B2B SaaS? 🚨

Steal my 5 min guide 👇

If you want to create content that converts, one of the best ways of doing this is by creating content around the JTBD of your persona.

G2 is a perfect place to find content ideas that target the desired outcome of your audience.

Here is how you can use G2 for sourcing content ideas ✅

I will be using Rows.com to make the whole process 10x faster

  1. Download RowsX extension for Chrome and pin it in your browser bar.

  2. Go to G2 , and look for the product you are searching reviews of, i.e. Miro Land on the product page, click on the Rows Extension icon and the hit “Open in Rows”

  3. You will land on a spreadsheet with a list of reviews.

  4. You can then use our EXTRACT_OPENAI to extract key tasks mentioned in the review and generate ideas for jobs to be done, as follows: EXTRACT_OPENAI (”Key tasks described, separated by comma”, F2)

Now you have a list of high-intent topics to write about 😊

Here is an example 👇

Let's say that you are a competitor of Airtable, you are on G2, and you are reading the "What problem is the product solving for you" part of a review by John.

John mentions that he is using Airtable to track his workflow, and he stopped using his previous solution because the process was "arduous and manual."

Armed with this information, you can write content on "How to track your workflow without spending hours on it ?" I am sure you can find a better title, but you get the idea 😊

I got 250+ links from a single article last year without doing any outreach

Here is how you can do the same 👇

If you want to generate links while sleeping, you need to create linkable assets.

From my experience, linkable assets are usually statistics and trends articles.

These keywords are fairly easy to rank and someone who is searching for statistics articles are likely to link your page as citation

Here is how you can create statistics articles:

  1. Find a keyword relevant to your industry and add “statistics to it” it could be something like “saas statistics” “churn statistics” “email marketing statistics”

  2. Put your competitor’s domain to Ahrefs and look at their content with top links to see if they have statistics articles (this is for inspiration)

  3. If your competitors don’t have a statistics article, google your keyword to see other ranking articles to get inspiration. Usually, it will be something like “25 Email Statistics You Need to Know” they will list all these statistics and add charts for each one

  4. Create your content brief, and now it’s time to get the data for your article

  5. Check internally if you have unique statistics you can provide. For example if you are in a churn business and you are writing about “saas churn statistics” you might have unique data no one has

  6. If you don’t have the data you can use Google Data set to find data and use it in your article

  7. After you write your article don’t forget to optimize your article by using Clearscope or any similar tool, we want SEO to be our distribution channel here

  8. If you want to kickstart your results, you can run google ads on your keyword to get some traffic and links to your article

Pro tips:

⚡️ Invest in making the article sharable, you can embed a share button under each statistic, or you can create visually stunning infographics with all the statistics on it

⚡️ When talking about the statistics, try to go one step further and give tips to people on how they can improve that metric. So, for example if you are talking about “open rates” also tell people how they can improve it

⚡️ Embed the survey on your page and incentivize readers to give you new data so that you can keep the article fresh
