📙As my book-a-month journey continues…

I’d like to introduce my September read…

$𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 by my friend Marcos Rivera.

As a repeat VP of Sales turned founder, I’ve earned my share of scars from not having the right pricing model and experiencing firsthand how it impacts revenue growth.

On the flip side, I’ve seen the significant benefits of capturing value by implementing a value-based pricing model.

(📣Shoutout to Marcos and his team at Pricing I/O for their invaluable support in making that happen)

Now… I’m excited to dive into the book that shares all of these tips and tricks to help folks like me demystify pricing and packaging.

Recap coming 🔜

📚 👷‍♀️The first day of school is like starting a new job.

Whether it’s starting first grade or your first VP of Sales role.

Here are 3 common themes:

  1. Fear of the unknown - You don’t know what to expect in a new grade (new job) with a new teacher (new boss) and new classmates (new colleagues).

  2. Pressure - You face new challenges (whether academic or professional) which can be intimidating and cause anxiety. Fear of failure and imposter syndrome are real.

  3. New Environment (Routine Changes) - transitioning to a new environment can be jarring for anyone. New responsibilities, new culture, new social dynamics etc. Will you get along with your teacher (boss), connect with your classmates (colleagues)⁉️

We can all empathize with both our kids starting a new grade and our new colleagues on their first day of a new job.

Extending grace and support go a long way.
