I’m delighted to share that I’m starting a new position as Public Affairs and Policy Director at BT Group!

Big news! After 4.5 years as BT’s Retail Regulation Director today is my last day. I’m moving internally to something very exciting (more on Monday in true LI style).

Reflecting on this awesome role I’m left with heaps of happy memories and loads of achievements that leave me very proud. We tackled Covid, supporting customers and delighting Ofcom, transformed how we price, launched Broadband and Mobile Social Tariffs, End of Contract Notifications and Automatic Compensation across our EE, BT and Plusnet. We also established Customer Fairness in the heart of the business with Board-level oversight and our Customer Fairness Panel which I know leaves a lasting legacy.

There have been some awesome experiences, (special mention to telling the BBC about our market leading scam protection) and tremendous achievements, but I’m most proud of the wonderful team we’ve created role-modelling genuine empathy with our business and our regulator. BT is lucky to have such a talented and fantastic team!

A huge thanks to Dee Cheek, sharon atmore, Matthew Morgan, Tom T., Will Buch, David Thompson, Clive Carter, Sabine Chalmers, Joseph Ward, Sophie Thomson,Tanja Salem, Chris Wood and Cathryn Ross (for the opportunity) and too many more for the support!

Here’s to the next step on the journey!
