Jordan Mickens is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in education, public affairs, and project management.

He holds a BA in Psychology & Economics from Williams College and a Master of Public Affairs from Princeton University.

Currently an MPA Candidate at Princeton School of Public and International Affairs, Jordan has a strong foundation in public policy and leadership.

Jordan Mickens has served in various impactful roles, including being the #OaklandUndivided Project Manager and a LEE Public Policy Fellow at the Office of the Mayor in the City of Oakland.

He has also worked as a Visiting Fellow at Education Pioneers and held positions such as Sr. District Success Manager and Goals Success Manager at Clever Inc., showcasing his versatility in both the education and corporate sectors.

With a passion for education, Jordan has also taken on roles such as Head Basketball Coach at Life Academy and Assistant Basketball Coach at Castlemont High School within the Oakland Unified School District.

His teaching experience includes being a Secondary Mathematics Teacher at Oakland Unified School District and a SMASH Stanford Math I Instructor at Level Playing Field Institute.

Jordan's diverse professional journey also includes experiences as a Corps Member at Teach For America, an Associate Consultant at OC&C Strategy Consultants, and an Undergrad Research Assistant in Social Psychology at Williams College.

Through his various roles, Jordan Mickens has demonstrated strong analytical skills, leadership abilities, and a commitment to making a difference in both the education sector and the public policy arena.
