Multifamily Sector Lead, Better Buildings Initiative

Josh Geyer is an Energy Program Analyst at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development's Office of Environment and Energy.1 He graduated with a Master of Public Policy and Administration in 2010.1 In his role, Geyer focuses on removing barriers to deploying efficiency measures and renewables in affordable multifamily housing.1 He serves as the Multifamily Sector Lead for the Department of Energy's Better Buildings Challenge, working towards reducing energy use in real estate portfolios by at least 20 percent over ten years.13
