Highlights
Spent last week at Skamania Lodge in Stevenson, Washington with our Prosper Hotels team.
I have to say, WOW - what an incredible place.
- 175 acres along the banks of the Columbia River
- Grand Lodge style architecture that fits perfectly in the rustic Northwest
- miles of walking trails through the woods
- 18 holes of disc golf (!)
Finding the right space for our team meeting was critical for facilitating the deep work we were able to do together as a team. And I'm so grateful for the hospitality we received - from the space to the service.
If you are ever in PDX or Skamania County, be sure to stop in.
P.S. Fun fact: In 1969, Skamania County created ordinance 1969-01, a law that banned people from killing Bigfoot, should they ever find it.
Selling hotel rooms isn’t about closing the deal.
Jennifer Kahl from White Lodging gets it.
Instead of being transactional, she takes a holistic approach.
It’s about relationships. Which has helped her team win Hotel of the Year and Sales Team of the Year.
Here’s why it works:
→ Guests remember their experience from the first phone call. → It’s about their entire journey with you. → A memorable experience starts from the first visit to the moment they leave. → It’s easy to sell your hotel when guests always have an amazing experience
They want to come back. They want to tell people.
Are you treating your clients like one-time deals or building lasting relationships?
