Joshua F. Gortney is a dedicated professional with a strong passion for instigating social change through impactful learning practices within organizations. Academically, Joshua holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) in International and Public Affairs from The University of Hong Kong, studied International Development at The Johns Hopkins University - Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), completed a Master of Arts (M.A.) in International Education with a perfect 4.0 GPA from Concordia University Irvine, and pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies from Malone University, excelling with a 3.1 GPA.

Professionally, Joshua has a diverse background with experience at various reputable organizations. He served as the Director of Learning and Innovation at The Hutong, held the position of Content Expert at Keru 课儒, worked as an Educational and Organizational Consultant at The Hutong, served as an International Service Learning Consultant at IDEAS CAMP EDUCATION, acted as a Consultant at STG - The School Transformation Group, worked as a Mentor Curriculum Consultant at Curio, led as the Director of China Hub at JUMP! Foundation, functioned as the China Partnership Manager at JUMP! Foundation, managed external relations and faculty at the Washington Internship Institute, interned at NEA, and served as a Graduate Assistant at the Washington Internship Institute. Joshua also assumed roles such as Teaching Associate/Module Coordinator at Vocational Training Council, Teacher/Lecturer at Zhejiang Institute of Mechanical Engineering, and intern at Multi-County Juvenile Attention Center.
