Program Director with the experience and passion for student development

Joshua Love, Ed.D. was the Black Achievers Program Director at the YMCA of Middle Tennessee from November 2016 to October 2021.2 In this role, he created programming, events, and activities to assist teens in increasing college knowledge and discover their career passions.1 He also implemented programming and mentored middle school youth at Backfield in Motion.1

Currently, Joshua Love serves as the Operations Manager for Nashville After Zone Alliance (NAZA).2 He holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Arts in Education from Tennessee State University, as well as a Doctorate in Education from Trevecca Nazarene University.1

Prior to his work with NAZA, Joshua spent time with the Tennessee Titans in community outreach, collaborating with schools and nonprofits to provide resources related to food insecurity, distribute grant funds, and organize branding campaigns.1

Throughout his career, Joshua has consistently found ways to work with youth as a volunteer, counselor, coach, or mentor.1 His professional focus appears to be on youth development, education, and community outreach in the Nashville area.
