Julie Ann Crommett is a dedicated professional with over a decade of experience in the Diversity and Inclusion space, striving for systemic social change through media and technology. She aims to establish her production company dedicated to diversity and inclusion while fostering cross-industry conversations and solutions in these areas. Julie currently holds the position of Vice President of Multicultural Audience Engagement at The Walt Disney Studios, where she leads initiatives to diversify talent in all facets of production, connect projects closely to communities, and promote inclusivity within the organization.

Prior to her role at Disney, Julie served as Google's Entertainment Industry Educator in Chief, overseeing endeavors to broaden on-screen representations of computer science through storytelling. She also played key roles at NBCUniversal, managing behind-the-camera diversity programs and contributing to projects like Writers on the Verge and the Directing Fellowship. Julie has received accolades such as being named in The Hollywood Reporter's 35 under 35 list, recognized by the IMAGEN Foundation, and honored as an ADCOLOR Innovator. Outside of Disney, she actively participates in boards of organizations like NALIP, the Hispanic Federation, and Women in Animation. With a heritage of Cuban and Puerto Rican descent, Julie Ann hails from Atlanta and completed her BA in English at Harvard University.

Julie's educational background includes studies at Walton High School and earning her BA Cum Laude in English and American Literature from Harvard University. Her professional journey spans across various organizations, including roles at Google, NBCUniversal, Gurney Productions, Pixar Animation Studios, DreamWorks Animation, The Coca-Cola Company, and Turner Broadcasting. Through her accomplishments and dedication, Julie Crommett continues to drive positive change towards a more inclusive and representative entertainment industry.
