Julius Kisingu is a highly motivated professional with a strong background in agriculture, rural development, and project planning and management.

With over 15 years of experience in humanitarian and development work, including 12 years with the United Nations World Food Programme (UN-WFP), Julius has held various roles such as monitoring and evaluation, field operations management, and currently, in the Vulnerability Analysis and Mapping (VAM) unit as a markets and food security analyst.

His expertise lies in analysis, design, planning, and management of policies, programmes, and projects related to food and nutrition security, markets, livelihood, and resilience building.

Julius is skilled in participatory learning, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting of humanitarian and development initiatives, as well as in strengthening strategic partnerships.

He is passionate about community participation in humanitarian and development initiatives, values innovation, and has a track record of leading high-performing teams through effective communication, adaptability, and continuous improvement.

Julius is results-oriented, a team player with excellent people skills, detail-oriented, versatile, and respectful of cultural diversity.

His educational background includes a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Project Planning and Management from the University of Nairobi – Kenya, and a BSc in Horticulture from Egerton University.

Currently, Julius Kisingu serves as a Markets and Food Security Analyst at the United Nations World Food Programme.

He is adept at working in challenging environments with minimal supervision, promoting innovation and knowledge management, facilitating a conducive learning environment within teams, and continuously pursuing personal learning and development in various practice areas.
