Justin Rodriguez is a 32-year-old biracial black genderqueer individual based in Seattle with a rich background in community organizing and activism.

They began their community work in 2008 by advocating for improved homeless services at the Gateway Center in Atlanta and continued serving the homeless population in Washington DC for eight years through various initiatives.

In Washington DC, they were involved in training volunteers for the first survey of homeless youth and served on the Finance Committee of Occupy DC, contributing to creating transparent financial systems within the organization.

Justin remains dedicated to social justice causes in Seattle, having organized and performed at various events, including the #BlackWomxnMatter Memorial and founding United Against Systemic Racism (UASR).

Through UASR, they work to combat systemic racism and oppression and organized the first #BlackTransLivesMatter protest in the country.

Currently, Justin leverages their extensive organizing experience to support community organizations and initiatives.

In terms of education, Justin studied towards a Physician Assistant degree at Howard University.

Throughout their career, Justin has been associated with various organizations, showing a diverse range of experiences from youth counseling to self-publishing and community organizing.
