Highlights
Shalom, Salam, Hello: In case you’re losing hope in Muslims, Christians, Jews, & people of all faiths – in humanity - PLEASE DON’T!
We decided NOT to wait until after this horrific war, with 101 of our hostages still being held by terrorists for 334 days, before recognizing true leaders & humanitarians who stand by us. We are honoring, thanking, & celebrating our brothers & sisters of all faiths, who bravely stand by our side through this darkness, hand in hand, day & night.
Our 120 heroes & builders of the Middle East, & our globe, bring light, hope, truth, & wisdom. The number 120 in Judaism means LIFE – a full life. It can be very lonely when you feel alone, isolated, attacked at every corner - BUT we are NOT alone.
Drum Roll for our eighth hero, Eddy Curry. His name comes from English origins & means “wealthy friend”. It is said that choosing Eddy as a name will teach them to value friendships & encourage an open & strong bond between Eddy & their loved ones. Well, for those of you who know Eddy, you know how important friendships are to him. Eddy is a former National Basketball Association (NBA) player who played with the Chicago Bulls, NY Knicks & won a National Basketball Association (NBA) Championship with the Miami HEAT. More importantly, Eddy is a husband, father, philanthropist & humanitarian.
Eddy has long been an advocate for coexistence & mutual respect. Eddy first visited Israel in 2022. During that visit, Eddy witnessed the true diversity & coexistence of Israeli society – Muslims, Christians, & Jews all living, working & playing together. Eddy became one of Project Max's 1st Ambassadors & has been speaking out against #racism, #antisemitism, and #intolerance through sports. Since October 7th, he has been even more outspoken in the fight against antisemitism & anti-Zionism. As part of the #SportSpeaksUp campaign, Eddy has been lending his voice & advocating for the release of the youngest hostage, 18-month-old, #KfirBibas. Eddy's humanitarian advocacy has been recognized around the world & featured in Sports Illustrated, the New York Post, & Jerusalem Post. Eddy also spent time at Israeli nonprofits, United Hatzalah of Israel, Innovation: Africa, & Save a Child's Heart = Repair the world #TikkunOlam
Eddy Curry said, “Right after the war, I was presented with a really special opportunity to bring awareness to the hostages. To get a chance to see whatever I could do, to help bring awareness and let people know that regardless of everything else going on around the world, the hostages are still not home. Just knowing that Kfir Bibas, the beautiful, incredible baby, is still being held hostage – let’s get this baby home. Let’s get all the children, mothers, and fathers – let’s get everybody HOME.”
Please give Eddy Curry a loud applause, a standing ovation, our precious brother, the Brave Lion of light; Mabrook, Mazel Tov, & Congratulations! #thankyou
Words fail us today - Our hearts are broken, though our spirit will never be broken.
It's still #Ocober7th every day for us
We all need a big hug - please reach out to your Israeli and Jewish Friends and colleagues. Many people will pull themselves into work, and force themselves to be present but their hearts and souls are a million miles away, stricken by grief.
RIP to our beautiful angels and comfort to their families and our nation in mourning.
Please lead in Kindness and compassion, for your staff, colleagues, friends, and the world. Thank you
