Kai Johnson is a highly educated individual with a strong background in Political Science, International Affairs, and Law.

Having studied at prestigious institutions like Columbia University, Tulane University Law School, and the University of Cambridge, Kai has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Affairs, a Doctor of Law degree, and expertise in Comparative Law.

Throughout their career, Kai has been involved with various organizations, including serving as an If/When/How Reproductive Justice Legal Fellow and as a legal extern at the ACLU of Louisiana.

Kai's experience also includes working as a Legal Intern at the Louisiana Center for Children's Rights, a Judicial Law Clerk at the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana, and contributing to research on Gender Equity and Women's Health for Congressman Bennie G. Thompson at the U.S. House of Representatives.

With a diverse background that includes roles such as Legislative Correspondent and Summer Intern at the U.S. House of Representatives, Kai has showcased a passion for law, social justice, and public service.

Additionally, Kai has been an active member of the Multicultural Affairs Advisory Board at the Columbia University Office of Multicultural Affairs, demonstrating a commitment to fostering diversity and inclusion.
