Didn’t know what to expect with this book – it is has very positive reviews – but found the title (naturally) provocative. The author does not suggest to be indifferent/laissez fair but to recognize what battles to pick and why, contrary to the ‘I will overcome every obstacle’ mantra/culture we live in. Not everyone will receive a participation trophy, nor should that matter if it is inconsistent with your values. He certainly has a gift for storytelling and the profane. Yet, it’s completely relatable, actionable and relevant. Highly recommend.
