Kathleen MacDonald, MBA, CCSA, is the Founder and CEO of Cooks from Home, an online marketplace connecting neighbors through homemade food.

With a background in Kinesiology and an MBA from the University of Quebec, Kathleen has a diverse career ranging from corporate wellness consulting to operational risk management in the insurance industry.

Her professional journey includes roles at notable organizations such as Desjardins, Standard Life, and Canadian government agencies like the Canadian Wheat Board and Health Canada.

Kathleen's expertise in operational risk led her to develop programs and facilitate training sessions, making significant contributions to the field.

In 2014, she transitioned into entrepreneurship by launching Cooks from Home, driven by a passion to enhance community connections and quality of life through shared homemade meals.

She has also been actively involved as a guest teacher at ENAP, a conference speaker on operational risk topics, and a project coordinator for Food Secure Canada, demonstrating her commitment to making a positive impact in various domains.
