Highlights
Patentstyret.no eller ring vårt svært kompetente kundesenter - 22387300 💚
Warm thanks to Daren Tang, Andrew Staines and team World Intellectual Property Organization – WIPO for seven days of productive dialogue and well organized events at the 65th WIPO Assemblies.
Some highlights for the Norwegian delegation from Patentstyret - Norwegian Industrial Property Office (NIPO);
👉 Fruitful bilaterals, networking and meetings with heads and delegation-members of international #IPOs
👉 A very strong Norwegian statement delivered by our Ambassador to Genève, Tormod Cappelen Endresen, to agenda item 18 - Assistance and support for Ukraine’s Innovation and Creativity Sector and IPR system
👉 Interesting and fruitful panel on The Future of Intellectual Property Offices, with a focus on what it takes to deliver top and relevant services to our customers, the industry, in an area of disrupting change and technology, and at the same time manage the IPOs in a Financial Sustainable way. The panel based its discussion on this report from International Trademark Association (INTA), a truly #toolbox and great guide for securing financial sustainabilities of IPOs of the future: https://lnkd.in/eJA2SrMZ
With 193 memberstates, and a total of 1400 registrants attending, WIPOs yearly General Assemblies (GAs) are truly THE largest arenas for dialogue and global desicionmaking for common sets of global «rules» and practice for Innovation, Creativity Sector and Intellectual Property. And common sets of rules and practice makes it easier for industry to innovate, compete, scale and export globally according to same rules. It also drives sustainability, the green shift, development of societies, and economic growth.
Thanks World Intellectual Property Organization – WIPO, International colleagues and Genève for a fantastic and stimulating week 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻, to WIPO legal counsel Anna Mansfield and Group B coordinator Saskia Jurna for hard and clever work negotiating good solutions on behalf of us all, and to my Norwegian colleagues Jostein Sandvik and @Trine Hvammen-Nicholson for great team effort 💪🏻
