Katina Boutis

Director of Sustainability at Everlane

Katina Boutis is an accomplished professional with a strong educational background in sustainability management and environmental studies. She holds a Master of Science (MS) in Sustainability Management from Columbia University in the City of New York, a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Environmental Studies from City University of New York-Hunter College, and studied at Salem Academy.

With a wealth of experience in the sustainability field, Katina has held prominent roles in various organizations. She is currently the Director of Sustainability at Everlane. Previously, she served as an Adjunct Professor at LIM College, Director of Sustainability at Away, and Sustainability Director at Rogan / Loomstate. Additionally, she has held positions such as Senior Manager of Corporate Social Responsibility at Rogan / Loomstate and NSF Project Manager at New York Harbor Foundation - Billion Oyster Project.

Katina's involvement in academia includes roles as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Columbia University School of Continuing Education, VP Communications at the Sustainability Management Student Association, and Board Member at Columbia Aquanauts. She has also contributed to research as a Scientist in Residence - Graduate Research Assistant at Earth Institute, Columbia Water Center.

In her early career, Katina served as a Program Coordinator under AmeriCorps Volunteer at MillionTreesNYC within the NYC Department of Parks & Recreation. She has also worked as an Environmental Impact Consultant at American Patriot Logistics Services and as a GreenStreets Field Intern at the NYC Department of Parks & Recreation.
