Highlights
In recent months, I have been exploring a number of small robotics projects using Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and various robot frames (tank, hexapod, etc). It's been quite rewarding to merge hardware and software together in one project. :)
My v1 goal was simply to create a remote-controlled robot with a mountable "brain" (another Pi) which would read various sensor data (RF, Camera, radar, gyroscope, etc), and be able to perform post-processing such as face/object recognition via OpenCV.
This blog post provides a general overview my first hexapod spider bot, as well a shopping list with links, code on GitHub. Next I'll post about Tank bot, which has a better server/client architecture + more mature code. https://lnkd.in/gih_KQda #robotics #project #raspberrypi #arduino
I recently bought an Apple Watch for health tracking + development. My first app for it is a ChatGPT app.
Using iOS's native libraries and language support, I was able to easily support multilingual both Voice-to-Text and Text-to-Voice. This was important as I wanted the app to be accessible to my kids as well.
Note, the app is not deployed to the app store, but you should be able to add your API Key and install on your Apple Watch via XCode.
