As a founder in the visual content space, I'm constantly amazed by the power of authenticity. But here's the thing: true authenticity isn't just a buzzword – it's a game-changer.

Did you know that 70% of consumers have more confidence in authentic brands? Or that 88% say trust is critical when deciding who to buy from?*

Yet, I still see so many brands missing the mark. Stock photos that scream "generic." AI-generated content that lacks soul. Diversity that feels like an afterthought.

Here's what I know: The brands that win are the ones that keep it real. They showcase actual customers (not just influencers). They embrace diverse voices and faces. They create content that feels local, not global. They tell stories that resonate on a human level.

At The Luupe, we're passionate about helping brands create content that truly connects. Because when you get it right, the results are incredible: deeper customer relationships, improved engagement, higher retention, and yes – better bottom lines.

So, I challenge you: Take a hard look at your brand's content. Does it feel authentically you? Does it speak to the real experiences of your audience?

If not, it's time for a change. Because in 2024 and beyond, keeping it real isn't just nice to have – it's essential for survival.

Who's with me in championing authenticity in marketing? Let's make boring content a thing of the past.

As a former competitive youth athlete, I've been riveted by the Olympics. The talent and the teaming has been an inspiration (hello, women's gymnastics!).

But as I watch hordes of photographers capturing event after event, I'm left wondering: where are all the women photographers?

This is not a new question. I say the same thing during The Oscars, the Emmys, during WNBA, NFL, MLS, and MLB games, and so many more times.

Where are the women?

As I celebrate the strides being made in women's sports, I'm simultaneously mourning that there are so few women there to capture the moments.

Do you ever stop to consider that the images you see from major sporting and media events are presented almost entirely through the male gaze? Do you ever wonder what moments are being missed?

I do.

And guess what?

The talent is out there. I run a company that has a global community of thousands of professional women and non-binary photographers in over 85 countries around the world. Other organizations are celebrating and championing talented women photographers and directors: Women Photograph, Women In Sports Photography, and Black Women Photographers to name a few.

I repeat: The talent is there. And it's not hard to find.

If, like me, you believe in the importance of having diversity in front of AND behind the lens, please join me in asking the following organizations to do better: International Olympic Committee – IOC , WNBA (Women's National Basketball Association) Major League Baseball (MLB), Major League Soccer Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, National Women's Soccer League (NWSL)
