Dr. Jones has dedicated his research to understanding and addressing the intricate components and dynamics of civil violence to proactively prevent and manage violent conflicts. His extensive portfolio includes roles as a Research Fellow at the Center for International Security Studies at Maryland, a Non-Resident Fellow at the prestigious Brookings Institution, an IREX Fellow in Central Asia, and a Guest Fellow at the Moscow office of the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace.
