Khalif J. Rainey is a policy maker, collaborator, and the founder of the Office of African American Affairs and the creator of Hip Hop Week MKE.

He holds a Bachelor's Degree from the Nelson Mandela School of Public Policy & Urban Affairs at Southern University and Agricultural and Mechanical College at Baton Rouge, as well as an Associates in Commercial Real Estate from Marquette University.

Khalif has held significant roles in various organizations in Milwaukee, including being the former Director of the City of Milwaukee Office of African American Affairs, 7th District Alderman, and 2nd District Supervisor at Milwaukee County Board of Supervisors. Additionally, he was a former Constituent Liaison/Outreach at the U.S. House of Representatives.
