Kiran has contributed as a Research Assistant at the Canadian Biomarker Integration Network in Depression, highlighting a commitment to mental health research.

Kiran's passion for advocacy and awareness is evident through roles such as being a Co-founder of a Peer Support Program, a Founder of an Anti-Bullying Initiative, and a Co-President of Man Up for Mental Health. Kiran's dedication to mental health extends to volunteering, including roles at Special Olympics Calgary and Distress Centre Calgary.

Kiran's leadership qualities are showcased through various positions such as being a Co-editor and Founder of the Cumming School of Medicine Magazine, a Co-founder of the Youth Can Fish 2 cohort project, and a Junior Varsity Volleyball Coach.
