Highlights
I’m really excited to have finished my first week as a Product Manager at Beyond Finance!
Thanks to all those that reached out to stay in touch and offer support :D
I don’t post to LinkedIn often, but after some time to reflect, I figure this is important enough to share, so here goes:
After a little under 2 years, my time at Amount (the first company I chose to work for after graduating college) has come to an end after the most recent round of layoffs last week. As much as I’d like to continue working at Amount, there’s nothing that I can do that’ll reverse the decisions that were made, which is why I’m grieving both the loss of future opportunities with Amount and all the unanswered questions that will remain unresolved in my mind. That being said, I’m proud of all the opportunities that I capitalized on in my time at Amount and I’m so thankful to have had the chance to work with a handful of really passionate, curious, and overall smart teammates that helped shape me into the product manager that I am today.
So, in the absence of one opportunity comes an open space for new ones. If anyone in my network is looking for or knows someone that’s looking for a product manager, please don’t be a stranger and reach out, I’d love to learn more about any positions and how I can help! Also to all my fellow Amountees that were laid off, I’d be happy to chat about resumes, interviews, or just life in general :)
