Konstantin von Beringe

Economics Ph.D. student at the Arizona State University

Konstantin von Beringe is a first-year Economics Ph.D. student at the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. His research interests focus on economic theory, particularly the utilization of graph theory in solving network problems. He recently obtained his master of arts degree in mathematics from Arizona State University with a concentration in discrete mathematics and algebra.

Prior to his current Ph.D. program, Konstantin completed his undergraduate studies at Arizona State University, earning dual bachelor of science degrees in economics and mathematics. He graduated with summa cum laude honors from Barrett, the Honors College. His remarkable undergraduate thesis titled 'Stability and Social Welfare in International Lending Networks' earned him the prestigious Roger L. Faith Outstanding Honors Thesis Award.

Konstantin von Beringe's academic journey includes participation in the Summer School 2015 program at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Additionally, he has gained practical experience through internships at UBS in Project Portfolio Management for Corporate & Institutional Clients and in the Emerging Talent Program with a focus on Market Research. Furthermore, he has been involved in research activities at the School of Earth and Space Exploration at Arizona State University.
