Dr. Lauren Murphy, with an extensive background in behavioral neuroscience, psychology, and anthropology, is a dedicated researcher passionate about unraveling the mysteries of human behavior. Her academic journey includes working with diverse populations such as infants, children, monkeys, and chimpanzees, employing innovative methodologies to gain insights into emotions and motivations. As an Associate VP on the Material Behavioral Science team, she specializes in developing research solutions to understand consumer behavior, emotions, motivation, and brand identity. Lauren's curiosity, honed through a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Neurobiology and Behavior from Emory University and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Anthropology from Florida State University, drives her to solve complex puzzles in the realms of behavior and motivation. Raised in South Florida, Lauren's love for the natural world and dedication to education have been central in shaping her career. Currently based in Brooklyn, she continues to explore the interplay of human behavior through personal interests in gaming, crafting, and immersing herself in the cultural offerings of NYC.
