Lauren Rickards

Lauren Rickards is a critical geographer specializing in climate change and the Anthropocene. She holds a Ph.D. from the School of Geography and the Environment at the University of Oxford, an M.Sc. in Environmental Change & Management from the Environmental Change Institute at the University of Oxford, and a B.Sc. Honours in Geography & Environmental Studies from the University of Melbourne.

Lauren has a diverse educational background, including a B.Sc. in Physical Geography & Ecology and a B.A. in Human Geography (incomplete) from the University of Melbourne. She has a rich academic history, having been a Research Fellow at the Melbourne Sustainable Society Institute (MSSI) and the Primary Industries Adaptation Research Network (PIARN) at The University of Melbourne.
