Laurent Gisel is a highly educated professional with a background in International Relations, International Law, and Law.

He holds a Master's degree in International Relations and International Law from The Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva, in addition to a Law Degree from the University of Geneva.

Laurent has a rich history of working with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), where he held various key positions.

He served as the Head of the Arms & Conduct of Hostilities Unit, Legal Adviser, Diplomatic Adviser to the Presidency, Deputy Head of Delegation, Head of Sub-Delegation, and Delegate at ICRC.

Prior to his roles at ICRC, Laurent Gisel worked as a Legal Clerk at the Public and Administrative Law Court in Canton de Vaud and as an Attorney in training at Etude Borgeaud & Lellouche.
