Lesley MacKinnon is a dedicated impact strategist with a strong focus on system transformation accumulated through a rich history of over a decade working within the charitable and social impact sector.

Her professional journey includes holding key leadership positions, navigating high net worth philanthropy, adeptly map ecosystems, drive engagement, and craft partnership-centric initiatives all aimed at fostering positive social change.

Currently serving as the Director of Development and Special Projects at Foresight, Lesley leverages her expertise to shape the strategic direction, foster partnerships, and identify new growth prospects to propel the organization forward.

Lesley's academic pursuits have been equally impressive with notable achievements such as studying at the Public Policy Training Institute, becoming a Certified Expert in International Microfinance from the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management, and attaining a Master of Arts degree from Carleton University, where she also completed her Bachelor of Arts.

Throughout her professional journey, Lesley has been associated with various impactful organizations, including her current role at Foresight Canada, as well as past roles such as serving as the Philanthropy & Impact Specialist and Liaison at Grayhawk, being the Chief Executive Officer at Fig Tree Foundation Calgary, holding the position of Senior Product Design & Investment Specialist at United Way of Calgary and Area, and engaging in roles like Policy Fellow at ABSI Connect and Programs and Research Associate at Mount Royal University, among many others.

Lesley's diverse experiences, combined with her educational background and strategic mindset, position her as a valuable asset in driving social innovation, fostering impactful partnerships, and leading organizations towards sustainable growth and positive change.
