I commend Pantheon Platform for having the courage to take a stand against hate and organizations that cause harm to our society.

In the wake of a controversy on who they allow on their platform, they released a new Acceptable Use Policy (https://lnkd.in/gfQcfv4C) which states:

Going forward, we will not do business with organizations whose primary purpose is organized hate, voter fraud/misinformation, or climate change denial

I can imagine the challenge in balancing the interests of all the stakeholders involved and the risks this move involves for their business. And I’m sure the policy is not perfect, and will evolve as it encounters real-world testing.

We are rightly quick to criticize businesses and hold them to account. If we want to encourage them to act with integrity and consider more than just profit, we also need to recognize and reward them when they do the right thing, as Pantheon did in this case.

Kudos to Zack Rosen and Josh Koenig, the entire leadership team, and all of the staff who advocated and worked hard for this change.

Shawn Busse and the incredible team at Kinesis are truly class acts. I had to miss the recent Catalyst event they hosted, which by all accounts was incredible and my loss! Rather than giving me a well deserved guilt trip, Shawn took the time to meet and share how it went and his team even sent me the swag I missed out on. Thank you, and well done!
