👩‍💻 When I worked at Google and Meta, I collaborated with thousands of #softwareengineers who wanted to #workonclimate but since Google and Meta aren't primarily climate companies, most of them did it in their 20% time.

🌎 At #Tesla, you work on climate 100% of the time (and to be honest, sometimes 120%, so don't apply if this scares you 😅).

❓ I often get questions from people to mentor them in their transition into working on climate if they don't already know the domain space. Where should they start?

🛣 There are several ways to progress your career, and no linear path works for everyone, but in general, my practical and actionable advice is to leverage your engineering skillsets in a role that doesn't require you to have as much domain expertise to start, which frequently is in the supporting software spaces.

⚡️ My team is #hiring for a Technical Program Manager to work on analytics for #Tesla #energyproducts (including Megapacks, Powerwalls, Superchargers, home EV chargers)🔋🔌

🚘 Did you ever wonder why Superchargers always work and a lot of other chargers don't when you pull up with your electric vehicle? Well that's because this team has done a great job:

1️⃣ Monitoring what's going on 2️⃣ Sending signals and information back to Tesla when things are broken 3️⃣ Making it easy for a service technician to go and fix the problem by using this data to pinpoint exactly what's wrong

🔢 You need a lot of analytics to do this well, so if you are 📊 data-hungry 🤓 and want to be a part of deploying renewable energy assets at scale, this is the role for you.

💻 The ideal candidate knows software development but also has product thinking skills.

👩🏻‍💻 UPDATE: Due to overwhelming interest, I cannot respond to everyone who is reaching out on LinkedIn. Please apply directly to the role below 👇
