Louise Thomas, a former multi-sport athlete, redirected her career focus from professional sports to engineering solutions for human performance optimization. With an academic background in sports and biomechanical engineering, Louise transitioned to the field of agricultural robotics.

Currently serving as the co-founder and mechatronics lead at Tensorfield Agriculture, Louise Thomas is dedicated to developing agricultural machinery aimed at reducing herbicide usage. The primary product, a weeding machine for densely planted specialty vegetable crops, is undergoing initial trials in California.

Louise's educational journey includes a Master's Degree in Mechatronic Systems Engineering from Simon Fraser University, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Sports and Mechanical Engineering from the University of Adelaide.

Alongside her role at Tensorfield Agriculture, Louise Thomas has held positions at various organizations such as Hackmind.ai, Beetl Robotics, Breakfast Courier, Vitali Wear, Simon Fraser University, BAE Systems, SA Pathology, and Craiglee Proprietors, showcasing her diverse professional experience.
