Luke Spencer is a dedicated professional with a background in renewable energy project management and engineering. He started his career in 2011 as a Wind Energy Project Manager at GreenSpark, specializing in residential scale design and construction. Over the years, Luke transitioned to becoming a Project Engineer, leading the design process for Mega-watt scale Wind Turbines across the country. In 2016, he shifted his focus to designing commercial scale Solar Projects, playing a key role in the success of large projects. Luke is actively involved in promoting renewable energy standards through his participation in the NYS Interconnection Technical Working Group.

With a degree in Industrial Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology, Luke's passion for sustainability and humanitarian efforts has influenced his work, including involvement in disaster relief projects in the Gulf Coast and Haiti, as well as housing rights activism in Rochester NY. Eager to advance his knowledge in Renewable Energy, Luke pursued a Master's degree in Power and Energy Systems at the University of Colorado Boulder, further enhancing his expertise in areas like Energy Storage and Micro-grids.

Throughout his career, Luke has held various roles such as Design Engineer III at Mayfield Renewables, Senior PV Designer at GreenSpark Energy, Assistant Director at Sullivan Alliance for Sustainable Development, and Sustainability Consultant at Ferncliff Conference Center. His diverse experience also includes positions at LiDestri Foods, Inc. and Borg Warner Morse TEC. Luke's professional journey showcases his commitment to environmental sustainability and his continuous pursuit of knowledge in the renewable energy sector.
