Mahveen Azam is a professional with a strong foundation in electrical engineering and international development. She is dedicated to empowering women for the 4th industrial revolution by promoting STEM education and advocacy on both supply and demand fronts.

With a wealth of experience, Mahveen's expertise lies in various areas including program and budget cycle management with a track record of handling substantial budgets totaling $19M. She excels in strategic planning, program design, understanding U.S. government policies, regulations, and reporting standards, as well as fostering strategic partnerships with government entities, businesses, and non-profit organizations. Her skill set also encompasses monitoring and evaluation, outreach efforts, strategic communication, and the creation of impactful marketing materials. She primarily focuses on regions such as South Asia, the Middle East, and West Africa.

Mahveen Azam pursued her academic interests by completing a Master's in Foreign Service (MSFS) from Georgetown University, a Master's degree from Oklahoma State University, and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Engineering and Technology in Taxila.

Mahveen has held key positions in various organizations, notably serving as the Senior Program and Partnerships Manager at American University. Prior to this role, she worked as the Senior Program Associate at Opportunities Industrialization Centers, International, and as a Consultant at the Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund. She also gained experience as a Media Analyst at Voice of America.
