Marc Brackett

Marc Brackett is a highly educated individual with a diverse academic background and a strong focus on psychology and education.

He attended Clifton High School and went on to study Psychology at various prestigious institutions, including Rutgers University, Yale University, University of New Hampshire, and John Jay College.

With a Doctor of Philosophy in Philosophy and Social Psychology, as well as multiple master's degrees, Marc has a solid foundation in both research and practical applications of psychology.

Throughout his career, Marc has held various academic positions, including Founding Director of the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence, Professor at Yale School of Medicine, and Adjunct Associate Professor at Columbia University Teachers College.

His extensive experience also includes roles such as Faculty Fellow at the Edward Zigler Center in Child Development and Social Policy, Lecturer at Yale University Department of Psychology, and Deputy Director at the Health Emotion & Behavior Laboratory.

In addition, Marc has contributed to academia as an Associate Research Scientist, Associate Director, Graduate Assistant, and Instructor at different institutions.

His teaching experience extends to adjunct professor roles at Iona College and St Peter's University.

Marc has also been involved in clinical settings, working as a Psychiatric Interviewer at New York State Psychiatric Institute and gaining research experience through a Research Externship at NYU Langone Medical Center.

Moreover, he has contributed to the field through editorial roles at prestigious journals, such as the Journal of Psycholinguistic Research and the Journal of Social Distress and the Homeless.
