Highlights
People regularly ask me where to begin, when starting the Web Components journey.
I've never done any course myself, just learned through doing (then digging into references - lately a lot of Gen AI to the rescue), but there are tons of great resources.
Obviously, I can't name them all, but let me at least give you a shortlist:
⭕ Rob Eisenberg's (Blue Spire Inc) course: https://lnkd.in/gAVYsyt3 - but also his contributions on Medium: https://lnkd.in/gPbMJbGr
⭕ Chris Ferdinandi ⚓️'s (Go Make Things): https://lnkd.in/g5ippvSQ
⭕ Frontend Masters Web Components https://lnkd.in/gfJSYSgy
⭕ Danny Moerkerke's "Mastering Web Components" - https://lnkd.in/gB-BzttN - and his Modern Web Weekly newsletter: https://lnkd.in/eUcSbX8i
⭕ Web Components on MDN - https://lnkd.in/gpEyTknK
⭕ Stefan Judis's Web Weekly - https://webweekly.email/
⭕ WebComponents.org: https://lnkd.in/gY6Sr76U
⭕ Web Components Resources on GitHub: https://lnkd.in/gUmVkVHk
⭕ Google Lit library for Reactive Web Components: https://lit.dev/
I hope this helps!

💡 UPDATE (August 5, 2024) : We have our developer!
Hey Lit developers, here's your dream job!
Knights Absorb - Learning is looking for a highly skilled Web Standards Frontend Developer to join our team on a freelance basis.
Your primary responsibility will be to develop a cutting-edge design system using Storybook with Web Components and Google Lit. We're looking for people that are truly experienced in developing with 𝗪𝗲𝗯 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗻𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗴𝗹𝗲 𝗟𝗶𝘁, who have a deep understanding of native browser technologies and ECMAScript Modules, and have familiarity with 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸 for component-driven development.
Our ideal Candidate doesn't consider him/herself to be a React developer, but a JavaScript developer who understands how JS frameworks and libraries work, and wants to stay really close to the Web Standards (which is the whole point of Google Lit).
If you think you're our Lit JavaScript Developer, please contact me, Marc van Neerven.
