After some well-spent time away from traditional work life, I’m excited to ‘officially’ make my return to the world of health tech. I’ve recently gotten to connect with several old and new friends working on interesting problems in the space, and I heard several common needs that I understood well from past experience. I’m now offering support via my independent consulting & advisory practice - Reasonwell Health. Looking forward to reconnecting with the rest of my network and hearing what everyone has been up to. (Also - I moved to the LA area, so please get in touch when you’re in town!)

I made a tough decision to say farewell to a bunch of amazing people working on a super important problem so that I could take time to recharge and reflect on my next steps. After working on various ‘innovative’ healthcare projects for the past decade, I found myself lacking the energy and enthusiasm I once had. While this is partially due to the straight up grind that is trying to do anything that is actually innovative in this space, it has also been intensified by my experience as a daughter of / caregiver for parents with complex health issues that left me personally drained and also feeling jaded about where we’re at as an industry despite the hard work and good intentions of so many.

During my downtime, I’m going to be prioritizing spending non-distracted time with my family, volunteering (hopefully directly with humans but also open to using my professional skills to help organizations that can benefit most from them), and my mental and physical health. And possibly doing some writing because god knows we need another sassy and opinionated healthcare blogger :).

I’m looking forward to coming back with some fresh ideas and energy to bring to whatever comes next. Huge thanks to the many folks that have shared their experiences on similar paths ❤️
