Margaret Hagan is the Executive Director of the Legal Design Lab at Stanford Law School/d.school, where she collaborates with various organizations to improve the accessibility and effectiveness of the justice system.

She specializes in applying human-centered design and technology to enhance access to justice, developing interactive tools, visualizations of law, and fostering innovation within legal practices.

Apart from her role at the Legal Design Lab, Margaret also educates on the design process and legal design through classes and workshops.

Prior to her current position, she has held roles as a Lecturer, Director, and Associate at Stanford University, as well as various intern positions at organizations like the U.S. Department of State and the European Roma Rights Center.
