Mariana Castillo is a successful entrepreneur with a focus on developing the premier direct-to-consumer eyewear brand in Latin America called Ben & Frank.

Her professional journey began as an asset manager at the Central Bank of Mexico, where she handled responsibilities in both foreign exchange and fixed income areas.

Driven by a passion for business, Mariana pursued an MBA specializing in Entrepreneurship at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where she co-founded Ben & Frank.

She holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Universidad Iberoamericana, Ciudad de México.

Mariana has been involved in various organizations, including serving as a Board Member at Cervecería de Colima and Anteris, as well as being an Endeavor Entrepreneur and Board Member at Endeavor.

She has also held roles such as Co-Founder & Co-CEO at Ben & Frank, Independent Board Member at EDESI - IBERO, and Summer Associate at Hi Ventures, formerly known as ALLVP.

Her prior experience encompasses positions like Fixed Income Portfolio Manager at Banco de México, Foreign Exchange and Commodities Trader and Analyst at Banco de México, and Investment Banking Trainee at J.P. Morgan.

Mariana's diverse background also includes working as a Barista at Starbucks, demonstrating her versatility and hands-on approach to various roles in her career.
