Highlights
Wow...! Just finished the "Private Empire: ExxonMobil and American Power" by American journalist Steve Coll. I am great admirer of Steve, author of masterpieces such as Ghost Wars, The Bin Ladens and many others.
With the current global warming, we better know where we come from. Steve's research is disturbing, and it left me (again) with deep concerns about the truth of today's climate debates. I may be "a bit" skeptical, but considering that countries like Saudi Arabia have +200 years of oil reserves at the current rate of consumption, and how the industry is still valued, I can't stop big question marks from coming up.
I really hope I'm wrong.
If anybody is planning to be in Dubai next week for the RewirEd Summit, reach out or join me during the session "Growing Green Champions: Building the Foundations of Climate Action by Investing in Children".
It will be busy days...but it is always nice to at least say hi!
