Martin Samuels is a highly accomplished individual with a background in biochemistry and a passion for science education. Currently serving as the Head of Content at LabXchange, Martin focuses on creating and curating content to foster a scientific mindset among learners and demonstrate the accessibility and excitement of careers in science. He actively collaborates with faculty and graduate students to develop engaging content that showcases the diversity of scientific disciplines and professionals.

Prior to his role at LabXchange, Martin held positions at Harvard University, including Associate Director for Science at the Derek Bok Center for Teaching and Learning. In this capacity, he supported STEM courses by promoting active learning strategies, inclusive teaching methods, and evidence-based pedagogies to enhance student learning outcomes and foster inclusivity in the classroom.

Martin also has experience as the Assistant Director for Undergraduate Studies in Molecular and Cellular Biology (MCB) and Chemical and Physical Biology (CPB) concentrations at Harvard. He co-taught various biology and biochemistry courses, emphasizing independent research and senior thesis projects to enrich the academic experience of students. Martin's academic journey includes a Ph.D. in biochemistry from Harvard University and a B.A. in Biological Sciences from the University of Chicago, where he developed a deep understanding of scientific inquiry and its application to real-world challenges.
