Martin Scholten is a versatile musician with over 30 years of experience as a bass player and guitarist, performing at an international level.

In addition to his musical talents, Martin is an accomplished journalist with a career spanning over 20 years, focusing on conducting interviews, translating English to Dutch, and editing for the Dutch guitarmagazine 'Gitarist'.

With over 25 years of experience as a bass and guitar teacher, Martin excels in both private lessons and teaching at music schools, covering a wide range of musical styles such as jazz, blues, funk, pop, and musical genres.

He holds a degree in Bass Guitar from Conservatorium Hilversum and furthered his education by studying Bass Guitar and acoustic bass at Sweelinc Conservatorium of Amsterdam.
